It’s amazing movie. I am sure lot many people might say that only positive side is shown. But the fact is Mr.Modi is a positive person and he has done amazing work for nation. Be it anyone in the world who is at great post and willing to do something for nation might have some flaws but people won’t see positives and just try pulling him back stressing on those few flaws. No one is perfect but I really appreciate Mr. Modi efforts and Vivek Oberoi gave justice to this role and acted really well. Overall it was neat and inspirational movie and it’s definitely a movie which bring people together and shows how Mr. Modi has done so many things in a good way for the upbringing of our nation.

This movie is based on true life of dynamic prime minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. The movie is very good effort and the actor playing Modi is Vivek Oberoi. He has done a good job in living this role. Delay in release has given some loss to the movie but overall excellent teamwork.

The movie I was waiting to watch so desperately. Finally got to see it and was happy to know more about this CHAIWALA who had dreams to build a very strong India. This movie is life journey of our current PM directed by Omung Kumar and acted by Vivek Oberoi. I was surprised by acting of Vivek oberoi ( personally I don't like his acting as such except few movies like company and saathiya),he has put his heart and soul into it. But yes he misses the AURA of the person whose biopic he is doing it. No doubt it is his best acting till date probably, but a very strong character artist was required to match the charisma of NaMo. My choice of preference would have been Akshay Kumar or Ajay Devgn and if a character artist had to play this role then it would definitely be Paresh Rawal. Direction of Omung Kumar lacks the intensity it had which was there in Marykom. Dialogues are good and some of them are taken from the man himself and used properly in the movie. Manoj Joshi is perfectly casted as Amit shah & even Zarina wahab is good as Heera baa. The movie looks as if it is haphazardly made and not properly edited either. All the important occassions in NaMo life are covered but it gives u a feeling that something is missing. Most of us love Modi and I am Strong supporter of him and BHAKT ( term given to me by my few of Liberal friends ) and I only went to see this movie to know about this man more. Few may like this movie few may not. HOPES, DREAMS AND VISION of this man is unbeatable and yes MODI HAI TOH MUMKIN HAI.

The movie is about Indian popular Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Coming to the acting part Vivek did a fantastic job. The story depicts some of the important milestones of Modi's life. This film was ordered a stay due to MCC by ECI. The film hit cinemas after elections and offered a insight into Modi's dedication to nation and his commitment. But it also tries to portray him as the hero, despite his flaws. Overall a good movie to watch.

Being an Narendra modi fan, I go to watch this movie on the very first day. But movie totally disappoints me. Acting of Vivek oberoi as Narendra modi waa so so poor and the direction too. The only thing which binds me to the seat is story of the movie. Surely surely don't go to watch this movie.

The film, PM Narendra Modi, is a tribute to our Prime Minister. This movie shows the various struggles and obstacles that Narendra Modi had to overcome in his life (which is well documented). Also it gives further insight into his life. But movie aims at projecting him as a superhero. The film does not talk about the alarming unemployment rate under Modi’s rule, or the growth in militancy in Kashmir, the weakening of the rupee, the skyrocketing petrol prices. Yes, it is an inspirational movie and people should go and watch it but it would have been better if we had got to see the negative side also.

Don't Believe CRITICS, It's a Superbly Crafted film but doesn't lack flaws! Though the first part of the movie seems little boring with minimal script and super fast cinematography, the movie, overall is really great. Though parts of it exhibit the characteristic of the film being fictional. Yet Omung Kumar has done a great job in potraying the life of such a great soul in less than 140 mins. It's a change from romantic movies, horror movies or thriller movies that bollywood usually has to offer. The second part of the movie, gives you GOOSEBUMPS. It's a motivation for the youth and the middle class to strive for their dreams, keeping money as a subsidiary! A family movie. You'd enjoy it. In conclusion, it's a must watch!!!

Pm Narendra Modi is a movie for those who are looking for a cinematic experience to see their beloved leader on big screen. The movie offers only some information about Narendra Modi's journey from being a helper in his father's tea stall to becoming the Prime Minister of the biggest democracy. Vivek Oberoi's acting was surprisingly on point. Although his resemblance became a source for funny memes before the release of the movie, But, after watching the movie it seems like Vivek has the last laugh. He was brilliant in some complex scenes where a strong character depth was needed. Overall, his efforts at portraying early political career of Modi paid off. Apart from the acting from the lead cast, the movie lacked research and somehow felt like it was done in a jiffy just to have a release before the elections so to get a wider audience reach. Background score and songs were really good. Cinematography was also good considering the movie schedule had little time to prepare before the actual shoot. Watch only if you are looking for a joyful experience of watching your favorite leader's life on a big screen.

This movie was good, i didn't thought that it will be so good. Acting of vivek oberoi was great as per the expectations. The story was also good and i liked it. It shows how great our prime minister is. The movie is must recommended from my side. I think the release after elections is a good timing and didn't effected the elections. I would recommend this movie to everyone because it is far better than Bharat movie and has a great storyline. Vivek Oberoi's performance was very great and overall i enjoyed the movie, i would give 4.5/5 stars.

A movie based on the life of our PM seems to only show him in a good limelight. Every person has some flaws and it should also showcase in one's biopic but the movie failed. The acting and customes were not upto the mark and could be done better. As it was a global movie makeup and dialogue delivery should have been better. At last a watchable movie if you are fan of our PM. But u will surely be disappointed by the cast.

Omung Kumar's PM Narendra Modi is a biopic (read hagiography) of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. VivekOberoi does his best to portray NaMo and does a decent job at it throughout. The film touches upon topics like the 2002 Godhra riots and a life-threatening danger for Modi, thus keeping the film moving at a good pace. The supporting cast members like Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi and Kishori Shahane definitely add value to the film. The one-sided rhetoric of the film will not have a universal appeal. A little more depth to the on-screen characters would’ve definitely helped the audience connect with them better. It is a good film to watch.

We all know this film was denied release until the Lok Sabha elections were completed. At that point of time, I had felt disappointed by the authority's decision. Today after watching PM Narendra Modi (and after knowing the 2019 election results), I am glad this biopic was delayed. Cos it doesn't do any justice to our honorable Prime minister. Certainly a global icon and towering leader like Narendra Damodardas Modi deserved a better film on his life. Not this tripe! PM Narendra Modi is a typical fare from good ole Bollywood which is notorious for glorifying everyone - from underworld dons to match fixing cricketers. So if it deifies Modi, that shouldn't come as a surprise or a complaint to anyone. At least, Mr. Modi is a deserving personality - a credible inspiration to a billion Indians worldwide. What is shocking is the way Omung Kumar Bhandula, director as he calls himself in the credits, has handled the film. Hastily assembled, haphazardly edited, shoddily shot with tacky VFX and production values resembling a high school skit, the movie hurriedly ticks off all the important events in Modi's glorious life - one disjointed scene follows another offering zero explanation or (logical) reasoning behind the proceedings. The result is a tedious watch even at 2 hours 15 minutes of run time. Oof!! On the positive, the dialogues are whistle worthy and quite a few of Modi's own quotes are used efficiently. Modi's love for motherland (Bharatmata) since childhood as well as his deep respect for our army is effectively shown. A Dev Anand film (my all time fave one!!) inspiring young Narendra forms an interesting trivia. Of the cast, Vivek Oberoi as Modi delivers a strictly okay performance. Clearly, the actor lacks the maturity to portray this great leader and maybe a Paresh Rawal or a Akshay Kumar would've been a better fit. Never mind! Manoj Joshi is perfectly cast as Amit Shah and Zarina Wahab impresses as Heeraben, Modi's mother. Like majority of Indian voters, I am also a strong Modi supporter. I went for this one only for him. An ever inspiring personality like PM Narendra Modi deserves a grand biopic. This is not that film!!

PM Narendra Modi works perfectly as a victory parade in its own way. Omung Kumar’s biopic stars Vivek Anand Oberoi as the man of every moment, whether as a child selling tea, the chief minister of Gujarat and the aspiring prime minister in 2014.This movie stands out among others.

PM Narendra Modi is a biopic of the present prime minister of India modi. It deals with the life of the Narendra Modi from his birth to that of becoming prime minister. The director has put in lots of efforts for recreating the scenes as the story is not so old and most of the people knew atleast part of the story. The director has did a tremendous job in bringing out the truths and hardships faced by Modi. However, the only concern for the movie is the acting of Vivek Oberoi. It was also discussed in the B-town that the film getting delayed due to Model code of Conduct is in force due to the Loksabha election. Otherwise it would have hit it the most. The movie is one time watchable for sure.

What I love the most in the movie is Boman Irani acting , Vivek Oberoi work is appreciable but he can do much better . Well the movie revolves around the struggles Shri Narendra Modi has faced in his life and his journey towards the PM of India . Also the challenges he faced during the CM of Gujarat, also his attitude towards making the Gujarat India's best developing state through Vibrant gujarat summits .

Do not believe the "expert reviews", it's a very entertaining movie on how an ordinary man by virtue of his extraordinary wit stands the tide of time during the darkest hours of Indian history. Yes it only shows the good side of PM Modi, but there is no bad side to show. We will wait for the day when Rahul Baba and Rajdeep Pardesai hang their boots and direct and produce a movie showing all the (unproven and baseless) bad side to our beloved PM. Till then, this movie is very entertaining, and incites a feeling of nationalism and pride, not towards Modi, but towards India, using a very simple storyline

This movie shows the complete struggle of Shri Narendra modi. The thing that satisfies me the most is Vivek Oberoi acting, he acted so well and boman irani is just fabulous. Well I only go to which this movie coz Narendra modi inspires me a lot and he is my true inspiration. Watch this movie coz this movie beautifully shows his raw wisdom is evident and beautifully depicted in a lot of scenes...be it the escape from the arrest during emergency...or the gimmick to attract crowds for a morcha against the then ruling Congress government of Gujrat.

A film on a populist leader getting into news even before getting released, it has got much hype. The film was delayed because it would have influenced the electorate. Finally the much awaited film, atleast by some of the sections of people has released. The film has portrayed his love for the nation and some of the emotional scenes were pulled off in a good manner. Vivek Oberoi did his best in portraying Mr. Modi. The film captures some of the highlights of Modi's life. Though some of the scenes were elevated compared to real life, but thats how the movies will be. Critics would be more than happy with those scenes. The story line would have been better and more engaging. Editing is not upto to the mark. Overall a decent watch for all Indians, whether you support Modi or not, this movie would give you an opportunity to know more about PM of largest democracy.

The film has a weak script and is more like a dish that is served stale without the necessary ingredients. Vivek Oberoi has performed well, however he doesn't look quite realistic playing Modi's role. A more focussed script and a better narrative would have made this biopic more meaningful.

Making a movie of political personality is not a simple act, particularly when the personality is so popular and at the same time controversial. But this move nicely balanced and a good entertainer for whole family. Critics, Modi lover, Bhakts and Haters must watch and then decide.

This movie was kept on hold as it was supposed to be released before elections were held. Hence the ban was imposed which made it more eager for the public to view the movie. However the curiosity which was built around the movie it didn't live upto the. expectations. Story is quite known to everyone about Sir Prime minister but still many things were brought to big screen movie. His struggle was shown nicely. Acting by Vivek is quite remarkable, director pulled it off quite decently. There was obviously no magical visual touches provided to the movie. I would suggest a one time watch to the viewers.

A must watch movie "PM Narendra Modi" .. I felt this movie is not about just a PM its about patriot. It's not less than any patriotic movie. Got Goosebumps, tears while watching the story about our Great PM Narendra Modi and his struggle to build the Gujarat and strong nation. Thank God he doesn't become monk and fait brought him back to serve the nation. If this movie had been released before election no doubt numbers would have been crossed 400. For Modi haters, plz go and watch this movie and just see it as movie and let me know your thoughts. Who knows you can also become Modi Bhakt Once again I am proud to be Modi Bhakt. Congratulations to all the people who believed him and gave the power to him again to build a strong nation. Jai Hind. Thanks to Omang Kumar. Waiting for Modi 2.0

'PM Narendra Modi' is an excellent movie. His biography is nicely depicted. There are some liberties taken by the director to make it more dramatic and filmy but Vivek Oberoi for a change has excelled in his role as Narendra Modi. Some of the scenes are beautiful, super heart touching one-liners have been delivered well. Many aspects have not been shown and I guess it's alright that way.

It’s been a good week for the 14th Prime Minister of India (besides Bran the Broken, of course), though things weren’t quite the same for him back in 2002. Director Omung Kumar uses a montage of kerosene-induced butchery to underline the point: Gujarat is in flames, hundreds are being callously butchered, and Vivek Oberoi’s Modi is trying his best (and failing) to cry. In what is easily intended to be the most pivotal scene in the film, the actor’s eyes well up with fake shock as he surveys the unfolding carnage, taking a long pause to steady himself before telling us what we already know: “Mera Gujarat jal raha hai”. His hands, interestingly, remain outstretched throughout this duration – a pose that unwittingly reminded me of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil (and, closer to home, Shah Rukh Khan himself). Modi goes on to visit relief camps that very night, visiting afflicted families one by one in an attempt to stem the flow of both tears and blood, and a character even remarks that the riots have been successfully suppressed within a span of 24 hours. That’s when the truth becomes most glaringly apparent: this garish, tasteless film is not an attempt to revisit history – it is an attempt to revise it.

Vivek Oberoi fades in front of Modi the leader. Because when you play a man as in the public eye as Narendra Modi, you need to be bloody sure of your art. Vivek Oberoi does a half-hearted job of playing Modi. He grimaces, makes strange faces and tries expressing himself from behind that beard and moustache, but falls terribly short of playing our man at the Centre. Meanwhile, the number of grey and black hair in his eyebrows keeps fluctuating. What works in favour of and against PM Narendra Modi the film is that we have seen the Prime Minister rising to power in front of our own eyes. His is a rise that has happened on social media and in rallies that are fresh in public memory, that we are witnessing every single day. The challenges for director Omung Kumar were many, in that sense. The director, who did a commendable job with Mary Kom, brings the worst of his craft to PM Narendra Modi. Modi's is a story that the entire country is aware of. Taking 'creative liberties' in such a scenario is not exactly a smart thing to do. Perhaps it is. Because decades down the line, when people chance upon this 'biopic' of PM Narendra Modi, it will be THE Modi Story. Who peyntede the leoun, after all. PM Narendra Modi the film takes its viewer through the best bits of Modi's life. It highlights the struggles of this man, who fought his way from selling tea in train compartments and sleeping in caves to 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. On the way, it caricatures the Opposition, Congress, Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi... and robs Manmohan Singh of his voice altogether. So much so, that Anupam Kher as Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister from earlier this year feels worthy of an Oscar. In its process of dehumanising everyone else around Modi and his brother-in-arms, a thinly-veiled Amit Shah, PM Narendra Modi the film ends up caricaturing even Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The only character other than Modi and Amit Shah that stands out is that of LK Advani. Prashant Narayanan tries hard to play the sinister businessman, but ends up as a bumbling apology of a villain. Darshan Kumar is your 'bikaau patrakar' who puts his best foot forward but alas, cannot rise above the mediocre. Boman Irani shines in his short role as Ratan Tata. Zarina Wahab gives her touch to Heeraben, but gives you nothing to write home about. None of the characters stay with you. Producer Sandip Ssingh, who is credited with the 'story' of PM Narendra Modi, pens a hagiography for our Prime Minister here. (On a side note, Vivek Oberoi should have looked up the meaning of that word earlier. He might just have had an objective viewpoint.) There is not one flaw in our lead character here. Come on, even Narendra Modi the man himself wouldn't want himself to be shown in this unbelievable a manner. Even the most controversial parts of PM Narendra Modi's life - the Godhra riots - are planted on the Opposition as a way to keep Modi from serving his people. Maybe the makers of PM Narendra Modi the film should have taken their own recipe of the perfect tea a little seriously: add just a bit of sugar. Because when you have too much sugar, the tea is inedible. The adrak is necessary. In tea, as in a biopic.

PM.Narendra Modi is a beautiful movie which showcases the life of the prime minister. The story begins with his birth in a shopkeepers family and from there on, all the difficulties faced by him to reach the place where he is today. The story keeps going and there is much more things than just a journey. There is patriotism, sadness, adventures and a lot of them to make the movie a must watchable. Vivek did a wonderful performance, however the same did not overtake the charisma of PM sir. It is very clear from the movie the situations and the reasons that lead him to join RSS and political party and the growth of him from a normal participant to the present stage of a Prime minister. This story makes it a must watchable movie.

From the opening credits which are shown in tricoloured hues to a mind-boggling climax where Modi valiantly evades an assassination attempt, the purpose of this biopic is clear. It wants to whitewash the biggest blot on Modi’s image—2002’s anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat. In the film, Modi the chief minister is shown running from pillar to post to contain the riots, with the blame resting solely on the governments of neighboring states .
